ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

 

Over 40 years ago, Bill and Diana Brown embarked on a journey with a small convenience store in Avoca, MI. As their family grew with the addition of their two sons, Bill and Dan, so did their business ventures. They acquired a hardware and convenience store in Argyle, MI, which is now proudly owned and operated by their son Bill Brown and his wife, Kristy.

In 1998, the family expanded their horizons by building a gas station and convenience store in Deckerville, MI. Their success continued with the acquisition of additional locations: a gas station and convenience store in Sandusky, MI, a gas station and grocery store in Harbor Beach, MI, and a grocery store in Deckerville, MI.

Though we faced a great loss with the passing of Diana Brown from ovarian cancer in late 2016, her legacy lives on in the family business. Bill Sr. continues to stay involved, checking in on the stores regularly. Bill Jr. manages and operates all family locations, ensuring the same quality and service that has been our hallmark for decades. Meanwhile, Dan runs his own appraisal business with his wife, Leann.
